Redcar Half Marathon and Family Fun Run

Come and join us in the oldest established Half Marathon in the North or take part in the Family Fun Run.

Race Information

The Route - Main Race

Fast, accurately measured, all tarmac 13.1 mile course starting and finishing on the on the sea front in Redcar. ChampionChip timing and race run under UK Athletics rules.

The Route - Wheelchair Race

10 Mile course starting and finishing on the on the sea front in Redcar. Fast, accurately measured, all tarmac course with ChampionChip timing.

Start Time

Wheel chair race starts at 9.55am
Half Marathon starts at 10:00am

Entrance Fee

£22 (£20 for UK Athletics Club Members)

Late Registration

There will be a very limited number of Half Marathon entries available on the day. You must register at the late registration desk on site between 7.45am and 9.30am. Entries on the day are charged at £25 (£23 for UK Athletics Club members). We recommend that you enter this race in advance to be sure of your place.

Family Fun Run

The Route

A fun and exciting run starting and finishing on grass next to the main race so everyone can feel the atmosphere and excitement of a big race and big crowd.

Start Time

The Family Fun Run starts at 10.15am

Entrance Fee

Adults £5.00

16 years and under £3.50

Late Registration

Entries will be accepted up to 10.00am on the day of the event and you would need to take a completed application form with you as this will enable your entry to be processes more quickly. Entries on the day £7 for adults and £5 for under 16's.
